Facebook = Life

I stumbled across this today and thought it was cute, so I’m sharing it with you. Plus, Paint It Black is an awesome song, regardless of what it accompanies. So, you know, double win!

Eat, Sleep, Love

October 27, 2010

Stage 1: Sleep. This usually takes up most of the day.

Stage 2: Awaken to the sound of something that may or may not sound like a tin of cat food opening.

Stage 3: Run faster than the speed of light until the source of the tin-like sound is reached. If there are obstacles in the way, ignore them. Bunch up the carpets, smash into bookshelves while skidding around the corner, trip anyone in your way by darting between their legs, it doesn’t matter. Just get to the source.

Stage 4: To ensure that the owner will feed you the maximum amount of food in one helping, show as much affection as possible.

Stage 5: Eagerly yet patiently await your delicious mound of food.

Stage 6: Eat and enjoy.

Stage 7: Commence the cleaning process. [click image for enhanced enlarged cuteness]

Stage 8: Sleep. Repeat when applicable.

Bart’s long lost twin brother

August 27, 2010

I stumbled upon this video on YouTube today, and this is exactly what Bart does any time an empty box is left unattended somewhere in the house. Whether you have a cat or not, you’ll appreciate the humour. Even the sound effects are spot on!

Newest addition

Ma came home yesterday with a rescued kitten. She’s an eight-week-old Turkish Angora named Leona (Leo, for short). Her hobbies include cooking up crack in the basement, running around the house naked, and picking fights with the elders. She also enjoys long walks on your face and eating your fingers. Sometimes, she sleeps for a little while. A “cat nap,” if you will. Those times are beautiful, yet rare. Updates soon!

Breakfast Juice

July 5, 2010

So I finally succumbed to my nagging Software Updates and just clicked everything and let my laptop do the rest. Turns out, I got a newer version of iPhoto and iMovie, so I decided to put the two together and create a short and pointless little stop-motion video. But because I’m poor and didn’t feel like paying for the video upgrade for this blog, I decided instead to create a free YouTube account, upload the video there, and then embed it here. Poor folk are clever, eh?

IMPORTANT SUGGESTION (especially to people like Ma, who are kind of computer illiterate): Press the play button. Then press the pause button. Wait for the bar to turn red (i.e. completely loaded). Then press play again and enjoy.
